## Private vaults expanding — supported for named operators, not every vault
Financial Times: https://www.ft.com/content/eca845f4-9b65-4e66-b73b-d9c9d2c77487?syn-25a6b1a6=1
The reporting quotes Sharps Pixley, MKS Pamp, Swiss Gold Safe and GoldCore executives about increased wealthy-client interest and capacity expansion. Swiss Gold Safe also identifies insurance limits. These are named commercial operators' reported experiences, not a census of global vault capacity or billionaire holdings. Anonymous conversations described by the creator were not independently verified.

## 571 tonnes — real WGC estimate, misassigned to billionaires
World Gold Council investment report, 30 July 2026: https://www.gold.org/goldhub/research/gold-demand-trends/gold-demand-trends-q2-2026/investment
The category is estimated OTC and stock flows/other demand, including a statistical residual. WGC reports 327t in Q2 and a revised 244t in Q1, giving rounded H1 demand of 571t. OTC is not directly observable. January–June 2026 is not a rolling six-month window ending at the video's upload. The estimate does not identify every owner or storage destination, prove billionaire ownership, or establish a measured minimum of private-vault deposits.

## UBS 50% — relative change in a planned weight, not completed purchases
Primary report, pp. 16–18: https://www.ubs.com/content/dam/assets/wm/static/gfo/global-family-office-report-en-2026.pdf
UBS describes 2% gold allocations in 2025 and consideration of 3% for those planning changes in 2026. Calculation: (3/2 - 1) × 100 = 50%; 3% - 2% = 1 percentage point. Neither calculation proves completed dollar purchases or allocation entirely to private physical bullion. The report notes a change from asking about precious metals generally to specifically about gold.

## UBS 60% — any asset-allocation change, not gold buyers
Same report, p. 16. The 60% describes respondents planning to change strategic asset allocation over the next twelve months. It is not the proportion buying gold.
Methodology: https://www.ubs.com/global/en/media/display-page-ndp/en-20260528-global-family-office-report-2026.html
307 UBS client family offices; fieldwork 22 January–30 March 2026. Mean family wealth US$2.7bn differs from mean family-office AUM US$1.3bn. Applying weights to the wrong asset base and treating the 60% as gold buyers cannot establish the video's roughly US$6bn buying extrapolation.

## U.S. debt — level supported, inevitability claim unsupported

Moody's, 16 May 2025: https://ratings.moodys.com/ratings-news/443154
Aaa to Aa1 and outlook to stable are confirmed. The same release expects the dollar to remain the dominant reserve currency for the foreseeable future. Downgrade does not mean default, inevitable collapse, or a collapse date.
